The Churches of Marion Pantry is an non-discrimination, ecumenical group of eleven Marion and Cedar Rapids churches organized in 1982 to meet the emergency food needs of area families. The participating churches supply funds, food, and distribution volunteers.
The Pantry is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 and operates from the Mission House of First Presbyterian Church of Marion, 802 12th St.

Little Free Pantries in the Community
Cedar Rapids has several 24/7 "Little Free Pantries" that operate on a take-what-you-need, leave-what-you-can basis. Key neighborhood spots include the Czech Village Free Pantry (1501 C St SW), Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (153 Cherry Hill Rd NW), and a residential pantry at 6522 Underwood Ave SW.
These 24/7 accessible locations allow you to grab food or drop off donations anytime:
- Czech Village Free Pantry: Corner of 15th Ave SW and C St SW
- Gloria Dei Lutheran Church: 153 Cherry Hill Rd NW (located on the Cherry Hill Road side of the building, next to the Little Library)
- Underwood Ave Pantry: 6522 Underwood Ave SW (a converted book box)
